Harmonised Modelling of Product and Enterprise Architectures for SMEs (Archiblend)

Companies often develop their products and their organizations separately in different models, although both systems are closely intertwined. Archiblend aims to jointly leverage methods from Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to optimize work organization. In particular, SMEs will be supported in developing harmonized enterprise and product architectures while making mutual dependencies transparent and easier to manage.

BOC Group contributes modelling expertise, advanced tooling and AI-supported assistance to enable integrated, knowledge-driven decision making. Reference models of work organization and typical dependency patterns between product and enterprise architectures will form the basis for future scenarios, role profiles and reusable solution patterns. A shared metamodel, an extended modelling language and smart modelling support will be made practically applicable in a dedicated tool environment. Complementary change management, qualification formats and transfer concepts will ease adoption in companies, while digitalized development processes and GenAI assistants will increase transparency, efficiency and quality along product creation. A functional software prototype will be realized using the BOC Management Office portfolio and validated with practice-oriented application cases from project partners.
