The demand for IT-based management solutions and appropriately high skilled employees continues to increase in all companies. In current job offers, qualifications in the area of Business Process Management, IT Management or Strategy and Performance Management are becoming increasingly important - even specific 'Business Process Managers' are often required. In many business areas such as Quality Assurance, organisation, or IT , knowledge about modelling and optimising business processes is definitely becoming an asset. Therefore universities and business schools are required to offer adequate education profiles.

The mutual enhancement of theory and practice provides the basis for product innovation and at the same time enables state-of-the-art education. The BOC Group, a spin-off of the University of Vienna, continues to maintain strong ties to many universities and research institutes world-wide.
