BOC’s latest publication called „The ADOit Method Manual” is now available. This manual offers various EA scenarios and a step-by-step instruction showing how to implement the EA scenarios in your company with ADOit.

This manual supports you from the moment you’re having the idea of implementing EAM to the moment you stand in front of the stakeholders trying to gain buy-in from them, and throughout your entire EA programme. It gives you advice on how to choose an EA framework, and how to gather and organise your data in one place, to name but a few. Moreover, it provides you with best practices all of which have been proven to be successful in past EA projects. But most importantly, it shows you how to use tool support for implementing the suggested best practices by the BOC Group. Each best practice scenario is explained at great length. It gives an insight into stakeholder roles (e.g. Enterprise Architect or Business Analyst) and required architecture elements (e.g. applications or processes), and further provides you with a detailed step-by-step instruction using the EA tool ADOit.
As for the audience of this book, it is intended for both EA beginners and professionals.

Interested? Email us today at:
(Subject: The ADOit Method Manual)

We will get back to you as soon as possible.

ADOit features won over EAC participants - Enterprise Architecture Conference Europe 2011 (EAC)

At the EAC 2011 in London (8-10 June), the BOC Group addressed the question of why and how to integrate EAM and BPM based on the EAM tool ADOit and the BPM tool ADONIS.
For many years now, Business Process Management (BPM) has been a widely accepted management concept. Recently, however, a growing number of organisations have also been implementing Enterprise Architecture Management. The reasons are obvious: steadily growing complexity of IT landscapes, rapidly-changing business models, business processes, and organisational structures in many business sectors, and soaring IT costs.
As a common asset for Process Owners, Business Analysts and Enterprise Architects, process architectures are the basis for strong Business/IT alignment and the establishment of a common language between IT and business.
At the EAC, the BOC Group presented a method for the integration of EAM and BPM and showed how to get the most out of both concepts considering their differences but also significant commonalities. The conference attendee showed great interest in Enterprise Architecture Management and the manifold features of the BOC Management Office supporting this concept. In particular, the conference participants were attracted by capabilities to provide role-specific dashboards for every stakeholder and various possibilities to analyse gathered information from different viewpoints.
