ADONIS is the Business Process Management tool of the BOC Management Office and is available as a stand-alone or client-server configuration. A relational database is used for data storage and external data can be imported through various interfaces such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, CSV and XML based formats. The ADONIS Process Portal allows online web access to the process management data and offers personalised user interfaces for the typical roles involved in process management. All published reports and HTML publications are web based and can be distributed and accessed by a standard web browser. ADONIS has been developed based on powerful meta-modelling concepts. Therefore the modelling notation, analysis mechanisms, as well as HTML and report generation, can be easily adapted and extended to satisfy customer’s needs. This facilitates the support of standard modelling notations such as BPMN, UML, EPC, IDEF and LOVEM as well as customer specific methods.
