ADONIS is based on the BPMS (Business Process Management System) framework for process management and on the establishment of a continuous process improvement cycle. The concepts of ADONIS are based on the phases identified in the framework surrounding the theory of a permanent cycle, as reflected in various leading process management practices. In particular the four key elements of an enterprise are considered and their dependencies are analysed. These four key elements are considered as products/services, processes, organisational structures and information technology.

The BOC Process Management Framework

The goal of business process management is the optimisation of business processes and corporate structures, as well as resources and technologies. This is achieved through a holistic approach to collect, evaluate, optimise and control the business processes and invested resources. Therefore the possibilities in ADONIS for consistent modelling, analysis, simulation and the evaluation of business processes are becoming crucial success factors. As ADONIS is part of the BOC Management Office it is possible to expand on the specifics of the IT services and applications identified with ADOit. Likewise we can implement a sustainable performance management system with ADOscore to define the indicators required.
