Production and Logistics

Particularly in the European environment, companies in the production and logistics sector face stiff competition. While introducing newer, more innovative technologies, a higher automation level must be achieved and order processing must be accelerated. A growing number of suppliers with an expanding processing depth as well as the relocation of production facilities add to this complexity.

Optimisation of Supply Chain

This pressure for change requires continual optimisation of the Supply Chains. The consultants of the BOC Group support you in optimising the Supply Chain – from strategic investment planning, the assessment of alternate value-added chains to the development and evaluation of potential 'to-be' alternatives to your Supply Chain. Methodical support for the standardised description and assessment of Supply Chains is ensured via the comprehensive Supply Chain Operations Reference model (SCOR).

In addition to our expertise in this area we also support you with our Supply Chain design tool ADOlog which offers a perfect base for modelling and analysing your Supply Chains.

Monitoring the Supply Chain

Having designed the Supply Chain, its efficiency must be monitored constantly against the predefined target criteria. Derived from the best practises of the SCOR model, the BOC Group developed a Supply Chain monitoring dashboard which gives the ability to select the essential targets and Key Performance Indicators for an optimised Supply Chain. This dashboard can be adapted as well as expanded according to your specific requirements. The BOC Group offers support with the implementation of such a dashboard and the customisation and the definition of interfaces for automated data input.

The Supply Chain dashboard is integrated in the ADOscore product. It provides an independent, web-based management information system. Changes and adaptations of the dashboard can easily be done in the design component of ADOscore.
