ADOit is the IT Architecture and Service Management tool of the BOC Management Office and can be installed as a Standalone or Client/Server application. In addition to the rich client, ADOit offers a web client which enables the decentralised collection of architecture data, the creation of reports, and personalised architecture dashboards. The repository objects and models are stored in a relational database (e.g. MS SQL Server, Oracle). Data in various formats (e.g. Microsoft Excel, SQL, CSV, XML interfaces etc.) can be imported. APIs (via Web Services) offer means for the integration with third party tools, like Service Repositories, CMS/CMDBs, and Business Process Management tools. Additionally, custom made JavaScripts can be interpreted. ADOit is based on a powerful metamodelling concept that allows flexible extention of the modelling method, analyses, evaluation facilities, and reports. This means easy integration and tailoring of any framework, such as TOGAF, DoDAF or COBIT.
